TRAVEL
So Sarap Philippine Festival will be located at Waterfront Park, a historical and cultural destination for locals and visitors to San Diego. Overlooking the bay, minutes from the San Diego International Airport, downtown hotels and convention center, and footsteps from 2,500 residences, the park is alive with hundreds of casual site seekers and local residents on an average day.
DIRECTIONS
Waterfront Park, 1600 Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA 92101
From North San Diego:
Take I-5 Frwy south and get off on Front Street (exit 17) heading south, turn right on W Ash Street heading west, turn right onto N Harbor Drive.
From South San Diego:
Take I-5 Frwy north to exit 17A, W Hawthorn Street. and turn left onto N Harbor Drive.
From San Diego International Airport:
You will leave the airport on N Harbor Drive heading south, follow Harbor Drive until you reach Waterfront Park (across the street from Maritime Museum/Star of India).
From Santa Fe Train Depot:
Leaving the train depot main doors head south on Kettner for ½ a block, turn right on Broadway, turn right onto N Harbor Drive.
PARKING
If you are driving to the event there are several paid parking lots and garages around the downtown area. A limited number of parking passes may be purchased in advance for ADA accessible parking at the underground garage of Waterfront Park. Check back to this site after September 8, 2022 for more information.
TRANSIT
SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
If you are flying into San Diego International Airport, you are approximately one mile from Waterfront Park. We suggest a quick taxi or ride share to the event.
AMTRAK OR COASTER
If you are coming into San Diego via Amtrak train or Coaster, you will want to get off at the Santa Fe Train Depot stop right in downtown San Diego. The train depot is about five blocks from Waterfront Park. You can take a quick taxi, ride share, or the trolley Green Line and exit at the County Center/Little Italy stop adjacent to the County Administration Building.

METROPOLITAN TRANSIT SYSTEM
If you are coming into downtown on the San Diego Metro Trolley here are the stops we recommend getting off at and the nearest festival entrance gates to each:
Green Line: County Center/Little Italy (Waterfront Park across the street).
Blue Line: At the 12th and Imperial Station (transfer to Green Line).
Orange Line: At the 12th and Imperial Station (transfer to Green Line).
Please remember to check all Trolley schedules for station times for each day of the week.

RIDESHARE
There are no designated ridesharing locations located at Waterfront Park. Traffic may be heavier than usual during the event, which may delay access to immediate ridesharing services. We suggest pickup or drop-off occur near the playground area on the south end of the park.
